I never now, it can be confusing, like i send a couple of games to someone in the USA something about us having the highest prices.
There are also grey sites you can buy it for at a similar price then you dont have region restrictions if it doesn't work, it's a cheap game you are trying.

The system really should be a more informative than this, even SteamDB doesn't say which regions/countries the game is restricted to (even though I have set the currency to euro).
I will wait for more answers, but I think I will set it to Steam - EU only, just to be sure.

Ah okay, that is a relief. So I only need to restrict the regions that are 10% more expensive, in which case there is none?
Does that mean if I am in the EU and it's cheaper everywhere, I can send it to any region I want (unless there is a country where the price is 10% more. Do a 10.68% increase also counts or just from 11%)?

9.99%. Once it hits 10.01% you might not be able to.
You also really need to check based on your country, not a vague notion that gifting will just work. Besides, it's less than 50¢, if you really wanna buy it, you should buy it as a key off some dodgy site instead. Or maybe your friends should just pay that small amount and just buy it themselves.
Another problem is if you gift too many copies of the same game to lots of accounts, then you may have issues as well. (I'm assuming you want to play online with others?)

Thank you, that is reassuring, that means I can send the Blood and Bacon game anywhere with no restrictions.
I won't gift too many copies, I will try to keep my giveaways diverse. Besides, I don't really play multiplayer games like this, but I picked this game for two reasons: it's the perfect game to test the gift system and I don't really want to play it, just give it away.

I have re-read it and edited my comment to accomodate it.

Randoms, but I thought you could gift anyone that is your friend on Steam, no matter how long they been one or does that only apply if they don't accept the request right away? Doesn't the limit only apply to trading and only if you don't the mobile app?

Nope, gifting to people you've only just added can have it's problems, as I've found out first-hand. It might not happen every time, but you need to be aware of this. How many copies are you thinking of gifting? you are limited to about 5 gifts of the same game I believe. I'm still not sure why you would even want to do this though...

Only one copy.
I want to do this, because I want to test the "gift" option instead of the key one, and this game is cheap enough to try it.

Leveling is not really a concern for me, just want to test out the new system.

So, I tried to look up for games a potential giveaway to test the gift system. Anyway, I came across this game called Blood and Bacon, and I noticed that it says "No cross region trading and gifting" (https://steamdb.info/sub/90671/info/). Does that mean if I buy the game (as a gift, not key) here, I can only gift it to people in other EU member countries?
Answers are much appreciated and sorry if this is a basic, dumb question, I just don't want to have incorrect settings.
