Hi all,
I'm a game developer and I occasionally make giveaways of my game. Just one right now, I'll make more.
I visit SteamGifts every day to enter giveaways of games from my wishlist, and I have a tradition of making a giveaway after I win something.
A way to give back or something.
Anyway, my whitelist is kind of small right now, so I'm inviting people who like indie games to join it.
Available games:
Sector Six
It's a shoot 'em up that tries to be looter shooter very hard!
Has loot, obviously, a lot of customization - customize basically everything, minimalistic and silhouette graphics, some unusual features.
If you're interested, the game has a demo.
Upcoming games:
Unnamed RPG
It's going to be a small RPG with a high level of polish, focused on combat mechanics and exploration instead of storytelling.
If you know what is RuneScape, it's going to be something like that, except singleplayer and with, well, more interesting combat.
Legion of Eternity
Singleplayer-focused CCG, built for experience, not competing. Quality > quantity approach to cards.
Card customization - add and remove skills, modify stats. No pack RNG nonsense - craft cards you need by collecting materials.
Eerie sci-fi lore and atmosphere. 100% free draft mode.
Beyond the Gate
It's something I call procedurally generated RPG.
The core of the game is an ability to explore procedurally generated worlds by controlling random seed.
E.g.: You come to the magical gate, enter 5485 and get teleported to world 5485.
There you find a forest, few rocks, 3 enemies, glowing mist bank, a chest protected by the curse and other things.
One enemy is level 54, you avoid it, the other is level 20, perfect, you kill it, get some loot.
You blow up rocks with dynamite, under them you find a gem. Glowing mist bank apparently deals magic damage to you, but you need to get through it to get to the chest.
You get the idea. I hope.
It's not rogue-like, you don't die, and worlds are persistent - enemies don't respawn, chests don't refill, so you can clear them and move to next world. Also not Minecraft clone.
I put a lot of effort to make my games as good as possible, so when I say that I am a game developer, I actually mean it - I'm not asset flipper and I don't make achievement spam games.
Lastly, my games don't have microtransactions and DLC by default.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, and, like I said, you like indie games, leave a comment - e.g.: "Add me" - and I'll consider adding you to my whitelist.
I want for my games to be played, so if you don't plan to do that, e.g.: you enter giveaways just for free Steam cards, avoid this thread.
I don't think I can check this, so it's up to you to honor my request.
EDIT: When I say "I want you to play my games" - I mean you run the game, beat the first level or whatever and if you don't get hooked, you don't have to play it.
