I have just recently passed 20k in giveaway value and I would love to go towards a million - Yes, Yes we can all dream right but is that all it is a dream?

I have no idea if I could ever giveaway 1 million in value or not but I will like to give it a shot - I'm I crazy maybe - I'm I hitting to high maybe

But I would love to do so and by announcing this it make me so much more of a silly billy if I fail

I am not now going to add a massive train or announce a giveaway of high value (and low quality - you know the ones right....) games either , nor am I going to put a new game on Steam just for easy value here

But i will get to 1 million in value or maybe even 1 million in giveaway amount - So yeah that is all

Can I make it to 1 million value in giveaways

I'm sure it's possible, I'm more worried about the logistics of it. Rather than publishing games yourself I'd look into becoming an official reseller just to source that many keys, getting the keys directly from publishers would simplify the task.
BTW, congrats on the massive milestone!

Thanks and I might mean 20 or 30 years from now (if Steam or Steamgift or even myself last that long)

While I think it's feasible to get to a million dollars of value (e.g. 50 times what you already gave), I don't think it's possible if you're not giving away the ripoff asset flip games that cost 300-900$. Which no one would want to win or play anyway.

Still, I thank you for the countless giveaways you created, and I wish you good luck in your endeavour!

You'd be surprised how many people enter for those kind of games

Yeah, but then there’s no value.

That's kind of an honorable goal. May I suggest donating this crazy amount of money to a more charitable cause instead? Dunno, children with cancer in hospitals, animal wellfare, saving the oceans... There's so much more things that need our attention and our ressources, why give that to big fat Gaben? So that he can buy himself a second Yacht with your money? Really??

On another note:

nor am I going to put a new game on Steam

Wasn't that your son who put up that game??

Well Yes it was him but I gave him the £100 to begin with and anyone who has a game on Steam for the first time is still new

I have another question, why don't you enter GAs at all? :)

I don't really have much interest in playing a lot of different games or get the time either - rather make giveaways

Welp, you can pass that task on your son, like a part of your last will, you know, like they do in movies, where someone have to spend a night in a haunted house in order to inherit it: "My son, you have to reach 1 million in giveaway value on steamgifts dot com in order to inherit everything I own or at the very least this steam account", don't forget to notarise it.

Reaching your goal is never as important as striving for it.
-- Someone. Probably.

(I know someone said something like this at some point but wasn't able to find the exact quote so I made it up but it still holds up nicely, I think)

Anyway you can do whatever you set your mind to it for as long as you actually set your mind to it.

Good luck to you and good luck to us winning all of those games ;)

Btw, in his 8 years here icaio made 33,589 GAs ($167,088.71 value), the sheer amount once even broke the SGTools. I wonder, if this would be the highest count so far.

Can't you do a 980,000 copy GA for Ball Fall? :D

(Hm, I guess we would need 980,000 users to receive them. Nevermind. :D)

Cheers!

You can reach everything.
With enough lifetime, energy, money and motivation.

I assume that there will be, at some point in the future, not more enough of all 4 things.
And most likely sg close the gates forever before you reach 1 mil.

Don’t do it. Better invest that money into something more worthwhile.

At the rate you are going currently 3 years for $20,000 approximately, it will take you another 150 years so no is the realistic answer. However, start with a more realistic target like $50-100,000 and see how you go from there! I do wish you the best of luck with this endeavour as the intention is good :)
