Blacklist to creators of giveaways with free games...

i don't add those people because most are new to the site and (like me) never read the FAQ :D
also i only blacklist people that are really rude or blacklisted me as well :3

no, i'm too lazy, i have just used button to hide all marine sharpshooter II giveaways. :P
but the idea isn't bad.

Well in most cases they'll make those gifts worth 0 so now I'll just set my CV high...but I had to make an exception where I saw one person was giving out 6 copies of a free game.

Depends. If they are just giving one copy and looks like they are just trying to be generous I don't, but if people are giving 5-6 copies...

Even if it's because they "don't know the rules" that's no excuse for breaking them.

Can we report that giveaways? Now i see a profile that is "giving away" 6 Marine Sharpshooter ;__;

i used just report the giveaways & comment where the free game is given away. in SGv2,support section(thanx to discussion posted here about closing old tickets) i noticed most of them are now suspended..so everything's peahy

I don't add those people to blacklist because if game is somewhere for free, I get it and then I don't see it in giveaways list (so I don't even know about those people). And I'm glad for it, I could've gone blacklist-crazy.

Whew, it took a couple of minutes but blacklisted most of them. Now in the perfect world they should just be banned.

Yes, if I see and it's done en masse. Won't use my time to hunt 'em.

First off the blacklist would be full in no time.

Second, I can't be bothered.

Third, there is always the possibility that they didn't get the game as a freebie. I could, if I wanted to throw up 4 giveaways for Marine Sharpshooter II right now if I wanted, none of which I got for free from IndieGala, and could show proof of purchase for the bundles I got it in. The timing would be a coincedence but coincedences happen and of course I wouldn't do it now unless I wanted to make a point or something. Don't get me wrong, if you look at profiles and see that the person has only ever given away free stuff before then it could be a good indicator that they didn't buy the game, and there's a few other things I think would give me an idea. No screening process would be perfect though, and if I tried to be as thorough as possible then I'm going back to my second reason that I can't be bothered as it would take too long.

As. U see under roles ( bottom of page) there is a possibility of a temporary ban of those people. Hope it gets active soon.
