What's the reason why you would blacklist someone?

If you're annoyed by blacklists, be sure to give away lots to the community trains, and give them away one at a time so they're spread out across the train.

The #1 most common reason I see people getting blacklisted for is participating in the Steam Gifts forum. If you never participate in this forum, you are very unlikely to get blacklisted. Never say thank you? Maybe you'll get 2 blacklists. Awful ratio? Again, maybe 2-3 blacklists from people. Say something out of line on the forum? Get ready for dozens or even hundreds of blacklists.

As others have pointed out already: Some people will do so for the silliest reasons, so don't sweat it. 6 BL is nothing, and most of the time these people only hurt themselves because if they blacklist you, they can't enter your GAs either.

I have two people on my blacklist. Both of them received a game but didn’t press the “Received” button.

I don’t particularly need words of thanks, but I do believe that site rules should be followed.
For some reason, the games I gifted did not appear in their list of won games. (Was it because I added them to my blacklist?)

I don’t know how to check if I’m on someone’s blacklist, and honestly, I feel like I’d rather not know—finding out might be shocking.

I tend to only blacklist people that post troll forum topics that are intentionally trying to get people to react. Or anyone that seems to have not followed the rules & activated wins without a reason.

I do wipe my blacklist every now and then, so I only have one person on it at the moment!

I BL exploiters and big dum dum's. In return I earned my fair share of BL too, but I think I found most of them through the public train so I can make sure they don't get the chance to change their mind.

In my case, it was creating NSFW giveaways. After creating a few such GAs, the number of blacklists I was on jumped from 0 to 6 in just two days (even though these were among the most entered GAs I've ever made).

Hopefully the new Hide Mature Games feature makes this less common in future.

I have zero people on my blacklist. The only reason I can imagine myself BLing someone is if they're being abusive or intentionally lying/manipulating/etc. But then again, I just give away bundle excess, not paying money to give away AAA/non-bundled items, so I can understand why people might have more reason to BL folks :)
