As for the unavailable buy button, I explained it in the video but I'll give you a quick summary.
The game's Natural Language Understanding Software is running on an a server. A very expensive server. The game didn't do too well so they ran out of money to keep it running, which then made the game unplayable since the AI couldn't respond to you, since all of their data is kept on the server. People manage to buy enough copies of the E-book which, gave them a bit more money to run the game servers for a bit longer. They disabled the buy button to lessen the fallout incase the game shut down for good one day. Less angry people about buying an unplayable game.
Although I think they're looking into fixing that with a permanent solution now.
