My advice? Be frugal on your own time. Going out is for going all out-- if you're treating yourself to the marathon, go the full nine and treat yourself to whatever refreshments you require as well. If you actually needed to save money, you would have stayed home. Otherwise, don't fetter your pleasure excursions with penny-pinching and live a little.

Don't sneak it in, just buffer up beforehand. Ie. have a good solid meal that'll last you 6 hours. Then you won't be worrying about popcorn, candies or other snack foods.

Hey guyses, I'll be participating in a movie marathon in theater today, all 3 original Star Wars film back to back. I've never done such a thing, so I don't know how that's gonna work out.
Are there some people here who did a marathon in the theater and can give some advice regarding food/drinking? I don't want to spend €30+ on popcorn and drinks in the theater. Did you bring food with you? I know it is not usually allowed to bring your own provisions, but you know some way to sneak it in?
