Unfortunately, the average person is of average intelligence and performs at an average level of competence. You should expect mistakes and inconsistency, but focus on the bigger picture. The majority of things humans do are done "correctly." "LEGO Star Wars Saga" is not misspelled, for example.

the scary thing is that 1/2 the population has below average I.Q. Makes you wonder wen you are on a freeway lol

If half the population has below average IQ then it isn't the average IQ.

Actually, it's a bell curve, so the majority are close to the average. As you move further and further away from the average, the percentage of people with that I.Q. grows smaller and smaller.

Although IQ doesn't necessarily predicts driving skill. Trust me.
Two words: Motorcycle. Racers.

I'm more irritated by how games with "The" at the beginning are sorted, but capitalization inconsistency is pretty obnoxious too.

Kills my ocd as well, another series that does this are the magic the gathering games. Magic the gathering 2012 has 2 "-" where as the 2011 version only has 1 "-" causing the second to be above the first one. Not sure if the newer versions do this as well since i don't own them.
But my biggest pet peeve with steam sorting and whatnot is when games have separate listing for different operating systems (gta san andreas and vice city are good examples of this) and others like company of heroes which release an all in one version but leave the old now useless individual listings there and other games that have expansions that get added as their own entry in the steam library but are loaded when you start up the main game. Makes having a big steam library an even bigger pain to navigate with so much extra bloat that doesn't need to be there.

I'm using the tool Depressurizer to (mainly auto-) sort/categorize my Steam library.
One option would be to rename the games themself, if you wish to.

Examples: most annoying - the LEGO , also Ubisoft couldn't resist not to put a "registered trademark" a.k.a. ® ,next to Far Cry 3.
There are ,ofcourse, other examples but you got my point. Is it really that hard to do it the right way? Or it's just me and my OCD >:(
