There was like 20 minutes total in the whole season that was pretty intense. The rest was just blah blah blah talk. And not Tarantino style talk in which every word has the price of gold. Nope, sir. Just your average talk.

Now that I think about it, the parts in Kings landing were indeed kinda boring not to mention the overseas part, but Tyrion did make up for that i.m.o.
But the next season should be more intense, after all, they had the same cliffhanger the past 2 seasons (white walkers near the wall)
It's kind of like what happened to The walking dead, s1 was intense, s2 was boring but it did develop the characters further & season 3 (up until now) is quite intense with a lot of stuff going on.

Walking dead sucks IMO. Couldn't get through the first season. There was so many illogical things I just couldn't watch it.
